In the last few years, I’ve noticed a new style of online storytelling taking hold. Companies are telling complex stories using videos with simple graphics and an informal approach. Some great examples:
Monday Dots is one of my favorites because it cuts this simple approach to the core and mostly uses colored “dots” to tell the story. I finally got around to trying my hand at this approach in the video below. I wasn’t totally happy with the result, but it was a good experience. I definitely learned that companies creating these videos are worth what they charge.
